Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10½ years. Cub Scouts enjoy a wide range of adventures and activities both indoors and out. Cub Scouts camp, explore, hike, collect badges, play games, learn practical skills, make friends and have fun.
The Cub Scout section is based on the Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling and leaders take their names from the book's characters. Akela, the head wolf, leads the Pack. The Cub Scouts are grouped in sixes named after a colour and wear a coloured woggle to show this. Each Six is led by a Sixer, who is assisted by a Seconder, who help the leaders to run the Pack.
The uniform consists of a Cub Scout jumper, necker and activity trousers.
We meet Monday evenings from 18:30 to 20:00.
